PureBlue is seeking implementation partners and participants to help create the Water Innovation Nexus (WIN)
The Water Innovation Nexus will be a water technology development and demonstration center (WATEC) in Everett, Washington. We plan to position Washington State as the national market leader and entry to the U.S. water reuse market. We intend the Water Innovation Nexus (WIN) to address water technology areas including stormwater treatment, wastewater treatment, energy efficiency, sensing, monitoring, software, IT, and AI.
The primary purpose of WIN and WATEC is to advance technologies to transform technological systems operating in the Water-Food-Energy nexus.
The Water Innovation Nexus will integrate, leverage, and strengthen existing programs, assets, and organizations working to advance water infrastructure, water reuse, and wise water-food-energy nexus systems. These include the PureBlue industry engagement program, Aqualyst bluetech business catalyst program, Soundview Innovation Campus, corporations, national laboratories, universities, nonprofits, municipalities, first nations and tribes, and regulators.
We seek partners from each of these sectors.
At present, we are seeking collaborators, contributors, and advisors to join our proposal to the U.S. Economic Development Administration Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Soundview Innovation Campus and the founding real estate development company Kinetic Capital plan to build 500,000 square feet of industrial and commercial buildings in Everett, Washington. A portion of this facility can be dedicated to advancing wise water management solutions.
